Product Description
The steel-plastic uniaxial geogrid is engineered for applications where high tensile strength is required in one primary direction. High-tensile steel wire ribs run longitudinally and are joined by transverse polymer elements, the whole structure being encapsulated in HDPE for permanent corrosion protection. Tensile strength ranges from 50 kN/m up to 300 kN/m, with aperture sizes of 100 mm or larger available on request.
Its primary application is geogrid for retaining wall and steep slope reinforcement. In mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) walls, bridge abutments and reinforced embankments, the uniaxial structure provides high modulus with low creep, maintaining long-term design strength under sustained loads for decades of service.
Compared with PET or PP geogrids, the steel-plastic composite structure offers superior creep resistance and virtually no strength loss over time in buried, oxygen-depleted soil conditions. This makes it the cost-effective choice for permanent MSE structures, landfill slope reinforcement and embankment construction over soft ground, where predictable long-term behavior is a contract requirement.
Rolls are supplied at 1.0–2.0 m width and 30–100 m length for efficient deployment with standard earthmoving equipment. Every production batch is tested to ASTM D6637 and GB/T 19274, and strength grading can be customized to match your wall design calculations.
We are a factory-direct uniaxial geogrid supplier for civil engineering contractors and geosynthetics distributors worldwide, supporting custom strength grading, private labeling and project-specific technical documentation. Wholesale pricing, free samples and engineering support are available — send us your wall design for a tailored offer.
