Product Description
Our steel-plastic biaxial geogrid is manufactured by welding high-tensile steel wires into a rigid biaxial grid and encapsulating the assembly with a protective HDPE/LDPE coating. It delivers tensile strength from 30 kN/m up to 150 kN/m in both longitudinal and transverse directions, with aperture sizes of 12.7 mm, 25.4 mm and 38.1 mm to interlock firmly with aggregate and soil particles.
As a geogrid for road construction and soil stabilization, this product reinforces road bases, railway subgrades, airport runways and bridge approach embankments. The rigid grid structure confines granular material, distributes wheel loads over a wider area, and extends service life of flexible pavements on weak subgrades. In soft soil foundation treatment, it significantly reduces differential settlement and aggregate loss.
Every mesh is fully encapsulated in polymer, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, alkali, and chemical attack in aggressive soil and moisture conditions. Tested to ASTM D6637 and GB/T 19274, the geogrid offers a design life of more than 50 years even in marine and high-salinity environments.
Installation is fast and labor-saving: rolls are supplied at 1.0–3.0 m width and 30–50 m length, laid flat over the prepared subgrade and overlapped 300–500 mm before covering with fill. No special equipment or skilled operators are required, keeping your construction cost low.
As a direct steel-plastic geogrid manufacturer and exporter, we supply custom tensile strengths, aperture sizes and roll dimensions for OEM and project tenders, with factory-direct pricing and stable monthly capacity. Batch test certificates, SGS inspection and full export documentation are provided with every shipment. Contact us for a quotation within 24 hours.
