Product Description
Our geobag is a large geotextile container filled on site with sand, gravel or local soil, used to build structures where conventional concrete or rock is slow, expensive or impossible to place. The fabric retains the fill while letting water drain, so the bag densifies quickly and interlocks with adjacent bags to form a stable, flexible mass.
Geobags are normally used in series: laid in rows and courses they build breakwaters, groynes, revetments and cofferdams, and because the structure is flexible it tolerates settlement and scour without cracking. Made from UV-stabilised fabric a geobag can also serve as the permanent face of a shoreline structure.
We supply geobags in woven or nonwoven geotextile in custom sizes and fabric strengths, with or without lifting loops, and can advise on fill type and stacking pattern for your site conditions.
